Nicholls State University will announce Tim Rebowe as its new head football coach at a news conference Friday, a source has informed RiverParishFootball.com. University of Louisiana-Lafayette assistant coach Tim Rebowe will be named the new head football coach at Nicholls State University, a source close to Rebowe informed Riverparishfootball.com. The announcement could come as early as Friday, sources informed RPF.com. Nicholls concludes its season Thursday when the Colonels host Southeastern Louisiana. In the regular-season finale, Destrehan fell behind early at home against East St. John. East St. John quarterback Xavier Lewis tossed 28 yards to Jarrod Jackson and Nigel Anderson scored on a 2-yard run to give ESJ a 14-0 lead early in the second quarter.
