HOUMA - It’s been six years since the Terrebonne Tigers have had to face a team from Destrehan, and eight since they played for district standings. Donovan Isom has thrown nine touchdown passes, running back Will Mathews already has a 100-yard game under his belt and receivers Kurk Merritt and Alfred Smith have shown big-play ability. That has been made possible by the big guys up front. “I give all the credit back to the offensive linemen. They have been working hard,... Keep Reading

Most coaches would love to have Stephen Robicheaux’s problems. For the second week in a row to open the season, Robicheaux’s Destrehan squad jumped out to a big lead on the Wildcats’ way to a 55-12 home win over Helen Cox on Friday night. With so much early productivity by the offense and stout play by the defense, Robicheaux has yet to see his starters play an entire game. &ldquo... Keep Reading
