Destrehan registers 1-0 win on Luquet’s last trip to Hahnville

Retiring Destrehan baseball coach Marty Luquet said he wanted a win more than the rocking chair he was presented with by Hahnville prior to his last game at his rivals' field. He got both. Robichaux and Nette wrap up wrestling season

One is a trendsetter, the other a history maker. Destrehan senior Nicole Robichaux and sophomore Abby Nette not only participated in wrestling this season, they excelled.  For four years, Robichaux blazed a path for other female wrestlers like Nette who last month became the first female to win a match at the state meet.
