The Destrehan Wildcats’ dance card is full for 2017. In the past two years, Destrehan has drawn its bye date in District 7-5A in Week 10. Unable to find an opponent to play, the Wildcats only had nine games in each of the past two regular seasons. That changes this year as the Wildcats conclude the regular season in Week 10 at Terrebonne. Destrehan drew Week 9 as its bye week but the Wildcats were able to... Keep Reading

For Destrehan, the bye came in Week 10 and the Wildcats are still searching for an opponent for the final week of the... Keep Reading

Destrehan coach Stephen Robicheaux said he expected a different type of game against Dutchtown and he got it Friday night from the visiting Griffins. After winning their first two games of 2014 by scores of 47-7 and 48-7, the Wildcats showed they could win in a lower-scoring defensive affair with a 20-10 victory over Dutchtown. Destrehan moved to 3-0 on the season but there were anxious moments along the way. “It was a great physical... Keep Reading
