Most River Parish football games moved up because of weather

Several football games involving River Parish teams have moved their games up a day due to predicted inclement weather for Friday. St. Charles Catholic’s home game with Country Day has been moved to 7 p.m. Thursday. Also, the Central Lafourche at East St. John game and the Sophie B. Wright at Riverside Academy games also have been moved to Thursday. St. James' home game against KIPP Renaissance also has been moved to Thursday.... Keep Reading

The Wildcats won for the second week in a row after losing their first seven games of the season, defeating Franklin 36-0 in non-district action Friday at Joe Keller Stadium in Reserve.
