Hahnville’s season comes to end with playoff loss to Parkway

By V. K. Jones Hahnville’s remarkable late-season run finally came to an end with a 31-28 home loss Friday night to Parkway in the Class 5A regionals. COVINGTON – Just start calling the Hahnville Tigers the Comeback Kids. After losing their first four games of the season, Hahnville came back to win the next five and take the District 8-5A championship. If there ever was a question why the Hahnville-Destrehan rivalry is considered to be one of the greatest in the country, that question was answered Friday night.
