After starting the season off slow, both McDonogh 35 and Hahnville were looking to have a strong performance on Friday night.  Neither team played their best football as both teams combined for 10 fumbles, seven of which were lost. After dropping a heart-breaker at Lutcher last week, things got no easier for the Hahnville Tigers this week. The winless Tigers faced St. Augustine, the No. 4 team in the state in Class 4A. Hahnville trailed only 8-3 after one quarter before Edna Karr exploded for 19 points in the second quarter to build a 27-10 halftime lead to hand the Tigers a 41-13 home defeat.
