Opportunistic HHS Tigers grind up St. James in 37-13 jamboree win

Hahnville didn’t need any help Thursday night but got a lot of it anyway from St. James in the second game of the Ed Reed River Parishes Jamboree at Hahnville. The Tigers marched downfield on the opening possession of the game, looking in midseason form. Slightly more than a week away from the start of the season, Hahnville was able to quickly fill a void on its schedule. Sarah Reed announced it did not have enough players to field a football team, causing the school to cancel its 2013 season. That left Hahnville with an open date for Week 2.
