On the night before Hahnville defeated Destrehan in the Battle of the Bridge back in early January, Tigers 14th year head coach Dan Erwin told RPF.com that his 2014 wrestling team might be the hardest working group of kids he’s ever coached. East Jefferson head coach Nick Saltaformaggio is expected to be named Hahnville's new head coach after St. Charles defensive coordinator Waye Stein was informed this morning that he is no longer in consideration for the position. St. Charles Parish School officials said that nothing will be made official until Wednesday's school board meeting. Sources have told Riverparishfootball.com that three of the five finalists for the vacant Hahnville head coach position have been informed they are no longer in contention and that Nick Saltaformaggio and Wayne Stein are the lone two candidates.
