Williams return kick-starts Tigers in Hahnville’s 49-7 win over HLB

Anthony Williams returned the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown and added a 67-yard touchdown reception while turning the running chores over to others in Hahnville’s 49-7 District 7-5A home win Friday night. Running backs Drew Dunn, Norquell Flowers and Demonte Clark, along with quarterback Mike Neal, all had touchdown runs as the Tigers improved to 6-3 overall and 4-1 in district action. Hahnville’s defense limited Central Lafourche to 129 yards total offense as the Tigers took a key road victory with a 28-6 triumph in District 7-5A action Friday night in Mathews. Both teams entered the game 4-3 overall. While the win moved Hahnville to 5-3 overall, more importantly, the Tigers improved to 3-1 in district with their third-straight win. Williams named RPF.com Player of Week

His grandmather called him "Pooka" when he was growing up. RPF.com is calling him "Player of the Week" following his performance against East St. John. Hahnville sophomore running back Anthony Williams registed touchdowns via the rush, receiving, and a punt return against the Wildcats racking up over 350 total yards along the way helping the Tigers to a 49-15 win over East St. John.
