THIBODAUX - The scoreboard showed a loss of 37-7. In previous weeks, the losing numbers were 47-0, 20-10 and 48-0. HAMMOND – Even in defeat, Northwestern State showed why it likes defensive players from the River Parishes. Although Southeastern Louisiana defeated Northwestern State 30-22 last Saturday at Strawberry Stadium, the Demons’ defense contained strong-armed SLU quarterback Bryan Bennett and the Lions’ offense.
