Lutcher denied trip to Superdome with 20-7 semifinal loss to Karr

Lutcher’s normally prolific offense was shut down by Karr’s defense, ending the Bulldogs’ quest for a possible seventh state title in a 20-7 loss in the Class 4A semifinals Friday night at Behrman Stadium in Algiers. Lutcher used an overpowering ground attack to defeat Washington-Marion 49-14 Friday night in Lake Charles in the regional round of the Class 4A playoffs.
