Dwain Jenkins knew he would be dealing with a lot of “firsts” this season. There would be his first practice as Lutcher’s new coach, the first spring game and scrimmage. An attempt to run out the clock didn’t go as Destrehan expected in the Ed Reed-Jarvis Landry Jamboree on Friday night at Lutcher. Clinging to a dwindling lead, Destrehan was trying to run out the clock when the Wildcats fumbled near midfield.
