The St. James quarterback announced Monday via his Twitter account that he again had committed to LSU and that he was ending his recruiting process. Although it proved to be a long, drawn-out process, time was beginning to run short for Narcisse, who plans to be an early enrollee in college. “He enrolls in school in January. He’s finishing up... NEW ORLEANS - In the hierarchy of great Lutcher quarterbacks a play late in the third quarter of the Class 3A state championship game may have solidified Jontre Kirklin’s spot at the very top. Three plays after Amite answered a Lutcher touchdown to trail 33-28; the Bulldogs faced third-and-6 from its own 24. Kirklin sprinted to his right and found no running room. He reversed field and ran to his left. He then pulled... Keep Reading

When Lutcher won the Class 3A state championship a year ago, it was the seventh title in the history of the school. The Bulldogs were led by junior quarterback Jontre Kirklin. In an oddity of sorts, all of Lutcher’s state championship teams were guided by a junior quarterback. “To be honest, I really wasn’t aware that it was always junior quarterbacks. I heard about it but it just an accomplishment... Keep Reading

If there was any doubt about the Bulldogs’ attempt to become the first team in school history... Keep Reading
