All eight River Parish teams have qualified for the Louisiana High School Athletic Association playoffs for the second year in a row. All eight River Parish football teams qualified for the playoffs, with the area’s top seed receiving an opening-round bye. By virtue of an 8-2 overall record and tough pre-district schedule, West St. John will have a week off before the Rams begin their pursuit of a Class 1A state champions among non-select schools.
