Another big night from Kylan Duhe allowed the West St. John Rams to bring home a victory from their road trip to face White Castle.

Duhe rushed for 128 yards rushing and three touchdowns in the Rams’ 48-14 win.

“He’s hungry, and we are going to feed him,” said Rams coach Brandon Walters. “As long as he stays healthy, we are going to give him the ball.”

His quarterback, D’Andre Gaudia, contributed three scores of his own, with all of them coming through the air.

Just minutes into the game, Duhe found the end zone on a 2-yard rush with 9:57 to play in the first quarter.

The Bulldogs (2-3) would tie the score at the four-minute mark of the first quarter on a 5-yard pass from Jacolby Washington to Tahj Favorite.

West St. John’s offense would begin to pull away, scoring 20 points in the second quarter.

The first strike came when Gaudia found Nico Roy on a 25-yard pass to make the game 12-6 at the 10:49 mark.

The Rams (3-2) would then score twice in less than a minute of game time. The first at the 7:39 mark when Duhe carried the ball into the end zone on a 19-yard run, and again at the 7:02 mark as Gaudia connected with Carrington Clark on a 30-yard strike.

The quick scores would put the Rams up 26-6.

The Bulldog defense would decrease the deficit before half when defender Kevon Washington picked up a Rams’ fumble and returned it 25 yards for the score.

Still, the Rams would go into the break with a 26-14 advantage.

Gaudia’s third touchdown pass of the night came with 20 seconds left in the third quarter, when he found Shane Lewis for a 15-yard completion to take a 34-14 lead.

The final blow to the Bulldogs occurred when the Rams came away with a defensive score when Zeron Wilson picked up a fumble and brought it 9 yards for the touchdown to make the score 40-14.

Duhe scored the lone touchdown of the fourth quarter on a 15-yard run with 19 seconds remaining in the game, sealing the 48-14 victory for the Rams.
