The waiting game for Andrew Robison continues.

After a Temporary Restraining Order was granted on Thursday reinstating his eligibility, Robison was held out of Hahnville's 28-15 loss Friday against rival Destrehan.

Hahnville and St. Charles Public Schools officials consulted throughout the day with the law firm Hammonds, Sills, Adkins, and Guice as to what the ramifications or possible additional sanctions the LHSAA could levy if Robison played.

"We want to respect the LHSAA and take the right approach," said Hahnville principal Brian Lumar.

Between lawyers, school officials, family members, and others at the LHSAA, Drew Robison (Andrew's father) estimates almost 25 people were going back-and-forth in what he referred to as, "the strangest day of my life," which happened to be his birthday.

Robison, a senior quarterback at Hahnville has been ruled ineligible for the season by the LHSAA for what they ruled as transfer violations after the family's move from Houma.  Robison again did not suit up for the game Friday but remained positive following the game.

"Its rough to play in one of the biggest rivalries in the state and not be able to play in it," said Robison. "I wasn't able to be on the field tonight and I could spend three hours telling you in detail of everything that happened and you wouldn't believe it. It's disappointing to lose like this tonight. I love my teammates though we've got a great team. Coach (Mike Silva) just told us starting now we're done, we're done losing. We're going on a winning streak this losing stuff is over. Whether I get to play next week (at Terrebonne) or for the rest of the season I don't know but Im going to do whatever I can do to help this team be the best they can be."

Asked if there was still hope that he would play for Hahnville this season, Robison continued his positive approach.

"Absolutely, absolutely there's still hope."
