Riverside offense struggles in playoff loss to University High

Riverside Academy’s offense was never able to get on track as the Rebels were eliminated from the Class 2A regional playoffs with a 27-7 loss Friday night to University High in Baton Rouge. Like the temperatures in uptown New Orleans, things got cold for Riverside after building a 7-0 halftime lead at Newman. By the time the game ended, the wind had picked up and temperatures in the upper 50s surrounded the Rebels who walked off the field following a 21-7 District 9-2 loss to the Greenies.
