River Parish teams again left their mark at the annual state Airo 7x7 Tournament Thursday at St. Amant High School. East St. led the way, finishing second overall. The Wildcats went 4-0 in pool play, then advanced all the way to the championship game where they fell just short, falling to St. Aug 23-14. The baseball resume at St. Charles is loaded with hardware, but something is missing. Eight state runner-up trophies have no state titles to keep them company.
