Another week and another commanding win over a much larger school for Class 3A top-ranked St. Charles Catholic. The only difference this time was the home crowd could actually enjoy this one without a long drive. The Comets’ 36-8 victory over Class 5A Northshore was an impressive home opener as the Comets improved to a perfect 3-0 and have now outscored opponents 126-15 in three games. St. Charles had a dominant performance for the second week in a row on the road with a 48-7 thrashing of Vandebilt Catholic.
