St. Charles grinds out methodic 21-0 win over West St. John

Very little flash, but plenty of substance. That was the winning formula for St. Charles, grinding out a 21-0 homecoming victory over West St. John. Phillip Tran, Lloyd Nash, and Narquez Jones each rushed for over 60 yards with a touchdown for the Comets who improved to 7-2 on the season. Riverside Academy beat St. Charles Catholic at its own game Friday night in a District 12-2A showdown between the rivals Friday night in Reserve. The Rebels dominated field position from the start of the game in defeating the Comets 35-14. Riverside (6-1 overall, 3-0 in district) had an average starting field position of its own 45 yard line.
