NEW ORLEANS - It was gut-check time for the Tulane football team late in the Green Wave’s game last Saturday afternoon versus Army at Yulman Stadium. The Black Knights had just scored to take a 17-14 lead and Tulane had the ball at its own 25-yard line with 5:32 left in the game. With the way Army controlled the clock in the second half with its relentless triple-option attack, the Green Wave knew it... Keep Reading

The first thing I told them (after the game) was I was a little disappointed. I thought they would be a little more excited. I think they were in shock after it being so long,” Nicholls coach Tim Rebowe joked. You will... Keep Reading

THIBODAUX - The scoreboard showed a loss of 37-7. In previous weeks, the losing numbers were 47-0, 20-10 and 48-0. It also showed that first-year coach Tim Rebowe, the former Destrehan High head coach and University of Louisiana at Lafayette assistant, and his Nicholls State squad has a long way to go to turn around the low-water mark in Colonel history. The Colonels have now lost 22 games in a row. Nicholls lost its final six... Keep Reading
