Brusly came up with two touchdowns in the second quarter to pull ahead 21-8 at halftime on its way to a 21-14 home win over St. James that dropped the Wildcats to 0-7 on the season. St. James saw a 21-7 halftime lead slip away in a 26-21 home loss to Port Allen on Friday night in the Wildcats’ homecoming that was the District 7-3A opener for both teams. “It was a tough one.
