In a battle of Wildcats on Friday night in Vacherie, speed won out over size. St. James ran past Wossman 45-28 over the visitors from Monroe. The win allowed SJH, the ninth-ranked team in Class 3A, to bounce back from a one-point loss to rival E.D. White a week ago.
