West St. John got the ball when the Rams absolutely had to have it. Trailing 36-28 in a back-and-forth fourth quarter, the Rams stopped Mangham’s Kyle Barefield on fourth-and-1 from the Dragons’ 16-yard line with 1:07 left in the game. A series of short tosses by West St. John quarterback Jemoine Green quickly moved the Rams up the field. Two plays after a 14-yard pass from Green to Jabari Walters on fourth-and-4 from... The bad news, it would seem, is the Rams, the No. 17 seed in the Class 2A playoffs, take on top-seeded Many. “I really don’t see it as bad news,” West St. John coach... Keep Reading

West St. John stopped a two-point conversion in overtime, allowing the Rams to take a dramatic 21-20 road win at Ferriday in the opening round of the Class 2A playoffs. After forcing overtime on a game-tying touchdown in the closing seconds of regulation, the Rams got the ball first to start overtime.
